Description

Manages renewal of Non Objection Certificate from Bihar Fire Service department.
Ensures regular audits regarding the Fire Safety are carried out in the hospital
Prepares & implements Fire related Policies & Emergency Procedures.
Prepares Evacuation Plan against emergencies related to fire
Implements & maintains Fire & Life Safety Standards in the Hospital.
Creates First Response Team and emergency Response team for Emergency Preparedness.
Attends & gives inputs in all the meetings related to fire safety/emergencies.
Ensures that the fire and life safety standards / Fire Safety Policies are fully followed by each and every employee of the Hospital.
Ensures that Welding activities are not carried within the hospital premises without “Hot Work Permit.”
Ensures that the Fire Fighting Trainings (Practical & Theoretical) are provided to the entire staff and maintains records for the same.
Conducts regular mock drills as per the schedules & set standards.
Ensures that the entire fire protection system of the hospital is in working order/condition round the clock.
Shows zero tolerance towards the movement of combustible unwanted material inside the hospital premises.
Ensures proper documentation of the entire Fire Fighting & Fire Alarm System.
Does continuous monitoring of hazardous areas such as Laundry/CSSD/ Kitchen / Laboratories / Engineering Plant room/Diesel Tank/D.G area/Gas Bank/ Radiology/Oncology/O.T etc to ensure safe & secure working condition round the clock.
Any other duties assigned by the reporting manager.
