Head - Engineering

Job Responsibilities -

• Assists the reporting personnel to provide a comprehensive Engineering service to ensure that all amenities are resourced and maintained to the specified standard. Ensures operations by determining work priorities and scheduling repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment.
• Assists in the handover of all infrastructure & services from the projects to the operations team as per the laid standards.
• Supervises for all the installation & maintenance works of HVAC, DG Sets, Boilers, Chillers, Fire Management Systems & their repair.
• Ensures smooth operations of the most complex and vital systems such as water supply & drainage system, water & fuel storage system, fire management system, plant room, services.
• Understands the functioning of BMS, fire fighting & sprinkler systems, IBR boilers, Laundry & Kitchen equipment's, UPS, Precision Air conditioning, Audio video system.
• Supervises contractors & inspects works done by contractors to comply with the engineering designs & drawings/ instructions.
• Understands PLC operation of DG set and well conversant with building bye laws related to Electrical, Fire, Water management.
• Performs the functions like energy conservation, man management, vendor handling, spare parts management & cost control etc.
• Inspects construction for the installation of various equipment's & systems & assure compliance with contractual provisions.
• Coordinates & approves the preparation of material specifications and construction standards for distribution system.
• Prepares the division budget, control and monitor expenses within budget, assure fiscal responsibility and cost consciousness.
• Assigns & verifies completion of all repairs, replacements of all equipment's when required, prepare the subcontracts & monitors the implementation of these subcontracts.
• Conducts studies & makes recommendations regarding the operating capacity & operating efficiency of the systems.
• Adheres to all corporate policies & controls to include all outside contractors bids, budgets & schedules.
• Identifies the KRAs/KPIs & training needs of his subordinates.
• Responsible for imparting/ organizing functional training for the subordinates.
• Any other duties assigned by the reporting manager.
