Description

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans for critically ill patients admitted to the HDU.
Provide continuous monitoring of vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation, and promptly report any abnormalities.
Administer medications, intravenous fluids, blood products, and other treatments as prescribed, and ensure accurate documentation of all interventions.
Perform advanced nursing procedures, such as wound care, catheterization, and airway management, according to patient needs and medical orders.
Maintain a high level of patient comfort and dignity, ensuring their psychological and emotional well-being in addition to their physical health.
Operate and monitor life-supporting equipment, such as ventilators, defibrillators, and infusion pumps, ensuring their proper functioning.
Recognize early signs of deterioration in critically ill patients and respond immediately to prevent further complications.
Collaborate with the medical team to update care plans based on patient progress and treatment effectiveness.
Assist in resuscitation efforts during emergencies and perform life-saving interventions as per protocols.
