Description

Conduct thorough medical consultations with patients to assess their gynecological health, medical history, and concerns. Perform comprehensive physical examinations, including pelvic exams, breast exams, and other relevant assessments to diagnose gynecological conditions.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as Pap smears, HPV tests, pelvic ultrasounds, mammograms, and blood tests, to screen for gynecological cancers, infections, hormonal imbalances, and other reproductive health issues.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on the diagnosis, severity of symptoms, patient preferences, and evidence-based medical guidelines. Prescribe medications, hormonal therapies, and other medical interventions to manage gynecological conditions effectively.
Perform minimally invasive procedures, such as colposcopy, endometrial biopsy, hysteroscopy, and laparoscopy, to diagnose and treat gynecological abnormalities, including abnormal Pap smears, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, and endometriosis.
Provide comprehensive contraceptive counseling to patients, discussing the various contraceptive methods available, including oral contraceptives, intrauterine devices (IUDs), contraceptive implants, and barrier methods. Help patients choose the most suitable contraceptive method based on their medical history, lifestyle, and reproductive goals.
