Description

Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations of female patients to assess gynecological health and reproductive concerns.
Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, such as Pap smears, pelvic ultrasounds, mammograms, and blood tests, to screen for gynecological conditions and cancer.
Diagnose and treat gynecological disorders and conditions, including menstrual irregularities, pelvic pain, infections, menopause-related symptoms, and urinary tract disorders.
Provide prenatal care to pregnant patients, monitor fetal development, and manage pregnancy-related complications.
Attend deliveries and provide obstetric care during labor and childbirth, including conducting cesarean sections (C-sections) when necessary.
Perform gynecological surgeries and procedures, such as hysterectomies, myomectomies, laparoscopies, colposcopies, and endometrial biopsies.
Prescribe medications, hormone therapy, or other treatments to manage gynecological conditions and promote reproductive health.
Counsel patients on contraception methods, family planning options, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and preconception care.
