Description

Provide comprehensive care for patients, including conducting thorough pelvic exams, Pap smears, and other gynaecological assessments.
Diagnose and treat a variety of gynaecological conditions, such as endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), fibroids, and cancers of the reproductive system.
Perform gynaecological surgeries, including but not limited to hysterectomies, laparoscopies, and caesarean sections. Manage preoperative and postoperative care.
Provide care throughout pregnancy, including prenatal visits, labour and delivery support, and postnatal follow-up.
Educate patients on reproductive health, family planning, fertility treatments, and menopause management. Provide counseling for sexual health and other sensitive issues.
Utilize and interpret diagnostic tools and tests, such as ultrasounds, mammograms, and blood tests.
Work closely with other healthcare providers, including nurses, midwives, and primary care physicians, to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, documenting diagnoses, treatments, and patient progress using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
