Description

Conduct thorough evaluations of female patients, including medical history review, physical examination, and interpretation of diagnostic tests such as Pap smears, ultrasounds, and blood tests.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of gynecological conditions, including but not limited to menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, infertility, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and gynecological cancers.
Provide comprehensive prenatal care to pregnant patients, including routine prenatal visits, prenatal testing, monitoring fetal development, and management of pregnancy complications.
Perform gynecological procedures and surgeries as needed, such as pelvic exams, colposcopies, endometrial biopsies, hysteroscopies, hysterectomies, and minimally invasive procedures.
Counsel patients on various contraceptive methods and family planning options, including birth control pills, intrauterine devices (IUDs), implants, sterilization procedures, and fertility awareness methods.
Educate patients about reproductive health, sexuality, menstrual hygiene, breast self-examination, and other relevant topics to promote informed decision-making and proactive health management.
Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including obstetricians, primary care physicians, urologists, oncologists, mental health professionals, and social workers, to provide coordinated and multidisciplinary care for patients.
Participate in departmental meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
