Part-Time General Physician

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka

About the Role

1. We are looking for a dedicated and patient-centric General Physician to join our healthcare team in Bangalore on a part-time basis.
2. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality primary care services to patients.
3. This position is ideal for fresh graduates looking to gain clinical experience, post-graduate students, or experienced physicians seeking flexible working hours.
4. You will be involved in OPD consultations, telemedicine, and possibly community health programs .

Key Responsibilities

1. Clinical Consultation: Conduct OPD consultations and diagnose common acute and chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, infections).
2. Patient Examination: Perform physical examinations, take detailed medical histories, and interpret diagnostic test results.
3. Treatment Plans: Prescribe medications, provide evidence-based treatment plans, and counsel patients on lifestyle modifications and preventive healthcare.
4. Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete medical records using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system; ensure legal and clinical compliance.
5. Emergency Handling: Identify red flags, manage emergencies appropriately, and coordinate referrals to specialists when required.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with nursing staff, pharmacists, and diagnostic teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
7. Telemedicine: Provide tele-consultations as per the clinic's telemedicine guidelines.

Qualifications and Requirements

1. Registration: Valid registration with the Karnataka Medical Council (KMC) is mandatory .
2. Experience: 0 to 3 years of experience. Freshers are encouraged to apply .
3. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong clinical judgment, and a compassionate approach to patient care .

Preferred Qualification

1. MBBS / MD / DNB in General Medicine or Family Medicine.
2. Experience with EMR / digital health documentation systems.

Schedule & Compensation

1. Flexible shifts available: Morning (9:00 AM to 1:00 PM) OR Evening (4:00 PM to 8 PM).
2. Weekend availability may be required.
3. Compensation: Competitive remuneration based on experience and consultation volume (Revenue-sharing or fixed-session model).
