Description

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs, incorporating findings into individualized nursing care plans.
Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to set goals and priorities for nursing care based on patients' conditions and preferences.
Implement nursing interventions and treatments according to established protocols and standards of care, ensuring patients' safety, comfort, and dignity.
Administer medications, perform wound care, insert and manage intravenous (IV) lines, and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
Monitor patients' vital signs, assess changes in condition, and document observations accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Provide education to patients and their families about their health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care practices.
Teach patients about medication management, dietary guidelines, exercise regimens, and other aspects of disease prevention and management.
Offer emotional support and counseling to patients and families, addressing concerns and providing resources for coping and adaptation.
