General Medicine

Job Overview:

• The General Medicine Doctor is responsible for teaching, clinical supervision, and medical care within the medical college environment. 
• This position involves educating medical students, interns, and residents, providing patient care, and engaging in academic research. 
• The ideal candidate will have in-depth clinical expertise in general medicine, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to the highest standards of medical care and education.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by the Medical Council.
• MD in General Medicine or equivalent postgraduate degree in a relevant field.
  
  Experience:
• Minimum of 2-8 years of experience as a practicing general medicine doctor, including teaching experience in a medical college setting.
• Experience in supervising medical students, residents, or interns is preferred.
  
  Skills & Competencies:
• Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for teaching, patient interaction, and teamwork.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in using medical software and electronic health records (EHR).
  
  Certifications:
• Active medical license (as required by local regulations).
• Additional certifications in medical education, clinical teaching, or research (preferred).
  
  Working Conditions:
• Full-time position with a combination of clinical, teaching, and administrative duties.
• The role may require evening or weekend work depending on the teaching schedule, clinical duties, and departmental requirements.
