The general physician duties include examinations ,diagnosing common illnesses, prescribing appropriate treatment and address patient's health related queries.</li><li>Prescribing medications and lifestyle alterations.</li><li>collecting fluid and tissue samples and sending these to Laboratories for further testing.</li><li>Referring patients to specialist for the testing and treatment if needed.</li><li>Anticipating and responding to patient Wellness related questions and concerns ,also explaining well about the prognosis.</li><li>Ability to triage and multi task.</li><li>Excellent administrative skills.</li><li>Ultimately an outstanding general practitioner will be Cognizant of the way in which mental health influences physical well being and will suggest appropriate reference if necessary.</li></ul>
