Description

Job Title: Trainer - General Duty Assistant (GDA)

Education Qualification:
Graduate/Postgraduate in Nursing, General Healthcare, or related field
Certification in GDA/Healthcare sector courses preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Delivery:
Conduct theoretical and practical training sessions for General Duty Assistant (GDA) courses.
Use innovative teaching methods to engage learners effectively.
Adhere to the curriculum guidelines set by NSDC/Sector Skill Councils.
Content Development:
Develop and customize training materials and lesson plans.
Ensure alignment with updated industry practices and standards.
Learner Assessment:
Conduct periodic assessments, tests, and evaluations to monitor learner progress.
Provide feedback and coaching to help learners improve their skills.
Industry Standards:
Keep up-to-date with healthcare practices and trends.
Impart training that meets the standards of the healthcare industry and GDA job roles.
Compliance and Reporting:
Maintain accurate training records and attendance logs.
Submit reports on training outcomes and learner progress to management.
Health and Safety Awareness:
Educate learners about health and safety protocols.
Ensure adherence to hygiene and safety standards in training environments.

Skills and Competencies:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in English and the local language.
Ability to use e-learning tools and platforms for blended learning.
Hands-on knowledge of hospital/clinical operations and equipment usage.
Passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Eligibility Criteria:
Proven experience in healthcare services, nursing, or a similar role.
Certification from relevant Sector Skill Councils (SSC) or equivalent will be an advantage.
Experience in skill development training is preferred.
