Description

Diagnose and treat disorders and diseases of the digestive system, including the stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder.
Perform surgeries such as resections, bypasses, and other procedures to treat conditions like colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and gallstones.
Evaluate patient medical histories, conduct physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests, such as endoscopies and imaging, to determine the need for surgery.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient condition, ensuring informed consent and addressing any patient concerns.
Collaborate with gastroenterologists, radiologists, oncologists, and other specialists to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Monitor and manage post-operative recovery, including pain management, infection prevention, and nutritional support.
Educate patients on pre-and post-operative care, dietary recommendations, and lifestyle changes to promote long-term health.
Perform minimally invasive surgical procedures using laparoscopy or robotic-assisted surgery when appropriate.
Maintain detailed medical records, documenting patient history, surgical procedures, and recovery progress.
