Position: Gastroenterologist

Role:

Dorika Hospital has an immediate hiring position for a Gastroenterologist. The role involves managing patient care, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of gastroenterological conditions. The specialist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, and technicians to ensure comprehensive patient care. Success in this role will be defined by delivering high-quality treatment, maintaining clear and compassionate communication with patients and their families, and continually updating skills and knowledge in gastroenterology. As a key member of the healthcare team, the Gastroenterologist will significantly contribute to Dorika Hospital's mission of providing exceptional healthcare and enhancing its reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive care and treatment to patients with gastroenterological conditions.
2. Diagnose and treat digestive disorders, chronic liver diseases, Gastric, and related conditions.
3. Treat gastrointestinal bleeding ,pancreatic and biliary diseases.
4. Provide care for inflammatory bowel diseases including Crohn's and ulcerative colitis.
5. Address common gastrointestinal issues such as abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhoea, and indigestion.
6. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including endoscopy and colonoscopy.
7. Collaborate with other specialists and healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
8. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure high standards of patient care.
9. Educate patients and their families about digestive health and preventive measures.
10. Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on advancements in gastroenterology.
11. Provide outpatient, inpatient, and emergency services as required.

Qualifications:

• DM/DNB in Gastroenterology.
• MBBS with a valid medical license to practice in India.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge in gastroenterology.
• Expertise in performing endoscopic and other related gastroenterological procedures.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in gastroenterology (Preferred).
• Freshers with DM/DNB in Gastroenterology are also encouraged to apply.
• 4-7 lac per month depending on experience (Salary negotiable).

Working Conditions:

• Requires reallocation to Tezpur, Assam.
• Flexible shifts may be required, including night and weekend coverage.
