Description

  • Formulation Development: Design and develop new oral solid dosage formulations, optimizing ingredient selection and processing parameters to achieve desired product characteristics and stability.
  • Conducting Stability Studies: Perform stability studies to evaluate the physical and chemical stability of formulations under various conditions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Analytical Method Development: Collaborate with analytical teams to develop and validate analytical methods for the testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
  • Scale-Up and Technology Transfer: Participate in the scale-up of formulations from laboratory to pilot and commercial production, ensuring successful technology transfer to manufacturing teams.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all formulation development processes, adhering to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and regulatory guidelines.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Production, to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance throughout the development process.
  • Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: Address formulation-related issues during development and manufacturing, conducting root cause analysis to identify and implement effective solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the pharmaceutical industry, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in formulation development processes.
