Description

  • Greet customers warmly, escort them to their tables, and provide menus and beverage lists.
  • Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, using a POS (Point of Sale) system if applicable.
  • Anticipate customer needs, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations based on preferences and dietary restrictions.
  • Relay orders to the kitchen or bar staff promptly and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to customers.
  • Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and temperature to ensure consistency and adherence to standards.
  • Verify accuracy of orders before serving and address any discrepancies or special requests.
  • Set up tables with utensils, napkins, and condiments before service and ensure cleanliness and tidiness throughout the dining experience.
  • Clear tables, clean spills, and reset tables for the next guests in a timely manner.
  • Assist with general cleaning duties in the dining area, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
