Description
- Develop and implement fire safety policies, procedures, and protocols in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and systems (fire alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers, etc.) to ensure they meet safety standards and are in working condition.
- Identify fire hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate potential threats.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans and evacuation procedures.
- Coordinate with emergency services (fire department, ambulance, etc.) and establish communication protocols for emergencies.
- Conduct fire drills and training sessions for employees to practice evacuation procedures and enhance fire safety awareness.
- Provide fire safety training to employees, contractors, and new hires, emphasizing prevention, evacuation procedures, and proper use of fire safety equipment.
- Distribute educational materials and resources on fire prevention, emergency preparedness, and safety regulations.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance throughout the organization.
