Description
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organization, including ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank statements.
- Process day-to-day accounting transactions such as invoices, payments, receipts, and reconciliations.
- Ensure the timely posting of transactions in accounting software and maintaining a clear audit trail.
- Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely payment of invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare and send customer invoices, follow up on outstanding payments, and ensure timely receipt of payments.
- Perform reconciliations of accounts payable and receivable to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining budget reports and forecasts.
- Provide financial data and reports to management for decision-making purposes.
