Fetal Consultant

• Prenatal Diagnosis and Screening: Perform and interpret prenatal screenings and diagnostic tests to assess fetal health and detect any abnormalities or potential risks during pregnancy
• Offer counseling and guidance to expectant parents based on the test results
• High-Risk Pregnancy Management: Provide care and management for high-risk pregnancies, including cases involving multiple pregnancies, fetal growth restriction, genetic disorders, or maternal health complications
• Collaborate with obstetricians and other specialists to create individualized care plans for expectant mothers
• Fetal Interventions and Procedures: Conduct fetal interventions or procedures, such as fetal blood sampling, fetal transfusions, or in-utero surgeries, if necessary, to address fetal health issues
• Consultation and Education: Offer consultations to obstetricians, gynecologists, and other healthcare professionals on complex fetal cases
• Educate patients and families about fetal health conditions, treatment options, and potential outcomes
• Research and Advancements: Participate in or lead research studies, clinical trials, or academic pursuits to advance knowledge and treatments in the field of fetal medicine
• Continued Care and Follow-up: Provide ongoing monitoring, follow-up assessments, and support to ensure the well-being of the fetus and the mother throughout the pregnancy and postnatal period

Skills and Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or MBBS) with specialized training in obstetrics, gynecology, and fetal medicine.
• Board certification or fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine or Fetal Medicine.
• Proficiency in prenatal diagnostic procedures, ultrasound imaging, and interpretation.
• Strong communication and counseling skills to interact with patients and families.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
