Description

Manage a team of maintenance technicians responsible for performing repairs, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep of the facility's infrastructure, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and building structures.
Oversee custodial staff to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility, including restrooms, common areas, and office spaces. Schedule and coordinate cleaning schedules to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
Plan and execute facility improvement projects, renovations, and upgrades as needed. Coordinate with contractors, architects, and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Stay up-to-date with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards. Ensure the facility meets all regulatory requirements and maintain appropriate documentation and records.
Develop and implement emergency response procedures to address incidents such as fires, floods, or other emergencies. Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services as needed.
Develop and manage the facility maintenance budget, including expenses for repairs, maintenance supplies, equipment, and contractor services. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize spending.
Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to facility maintenance and custodial staff. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Identify and select qualified vendors and contractors for facility maintenance, repairs, and services. Negotiate contracts, review proposals, and ensure vendors deliver high-quality workmanship and service.
Maintain open communication with tenants, employees, and visitors to address facility-related concerns and requests promptly. Strive to provide excellent customer service and a positive experience for all stakeholders.
