Description

  • Manage a team of maintenance technicians responsible for performing repairs, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep of the facility's infrastructure, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and building structures.
  • Oversee custodial staff to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility, including restrooms, common areas, and office spaces. Schedule and coordinate cleaning schedules to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Plan and execute facility improvement projects, renovations, and upgrades as needed. Coordinate with contractors, architects, and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Stay up-to-date with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards. Ensure the facility meets all regulatory requirements and maintain appropriate documentation and records.
  • Develop and implement emergency response procedures to address incidents such as fires, floods, or other emergencies. Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services as needed.
  • Develop and manage the facility maintenance budget, including expenses for repairs, maintenance supplies, equipment, and contractor services. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize spending.
  • Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to facility maintenance and custodial staff. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and select qualified vendors and contractors for facility maintenance, repairs, and services. Negotiate contracts, review proposals, and ensure vendors deliver high-quality workmanship and service.
  • Maintain open communication with tenants, employees, and visitors to address facility-related concerns and requests promptly. Strive to provide excellent customer service and a positive experience for all stakeholders.
