<ul><li>Prepare patients for eye examinations and procedures.</li><li>Take patient medical histories and record symptoms.</li><li>Conduct a variety of diagnostic tests, including visual acuity tests, tonometry, refractometry, and visual field tests.</li><li>Assist with advanced diagnostic procedures, such as optical coherence tomography (OCT) and fundus photography.</li><li>Assist the ophthalmologist or optometrist during eye examinations and minor surgical procedures.</li><li>Administer eye drops and medications as prescribed.</li><li>Maintain and calibrate ophthalmic instruments and equipment.</li><li>Ensure all equipment is clean, sanitized, and in good working condition.</li></ul>
