Description
- Assist in the implementation, development, and maintenance of Quality Management Systems (QMS) across engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Ensure adherence to company-wide quality policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices for quality management.
- Work with various teams (engineering, production, quality control) to ensure that all processes comply with the QMS requirements and are operating effectively.
- Monitor and track quality metrics to ensure that engineering projects and processes meet established quality standards.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation such as process flow charts, standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality checklists.
- Perform internal audits to assess compliance with QMS and assist in preparing for external audits or regulatory inspections.
- Identify opportunities for quality improvement across engineering and operational processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and ensure timely resolution.
- Recommend and help implement process optimization and efficiency initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce waste.
