Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) for engineering processes to ensure product and service quality.
- Ensure that engineering projects and processes comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational quality goals.
- Conduct internal audits of engineering activities and processes to assess adherence to QMS and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, R&D, and regulatory, to develop and maintain quality documentation, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Analyze quality metrics and performance data, generating reports to inform management decisions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate training sessions for engineering teams on QMS principles, tools, and best practices to ensure compliance and enhance performance.
- Investigate quality issues and non-conformances, root-cause analysis, and develop corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure proper documentation control within the QMS, maintaining records and files for regulatory audits and inspections.
- Support the design and implementation of quality improvement initiatives across engineering functions to reduce defects and improve process efficiency.
- Stay current with industry trends, quality standards, and regulatory changes to ensure the engineering QMS remains compliant and effective.
