Description

Design and develop process instrumentation systems for monitoring and controlling industrial processes, including sensors, transmitters, control valves, and actuators.
Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to specify instrumentation requirements, select appropriate devices, and integrate them into overall process control systems.
Perform detailed engineering calculations and analysis to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and safety of instrumentation systems, including sizing, selection, and calibration of instruments.
Develop technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for instrumentation systems, including P&IDs, loop diagrams, instrument datasheets, and installation details.
Procure instrumentation equipment and materials, including sourcing, evaluation, and selection of vendors and suppliers. Manage procurement activities to ensure timely delivery and compliance with project requirements.
Install, commission, and troubleshoot instrumentation systems, including testing, calibration, and validation of instruments and control loops.
Conduct performance evaluations and optimization studies of instrumentation systems to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance process efficiency and reliability.
Provide technical support and guidance to operations and maintenance teams on instrumentation-related issues, troubleshooting, and corrective actions.
