Description

Conduct thorough medical evaluations of patients with endocrine symptoms, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests and imaging studies.
Perform specialized endocrine tests and hormone assays, such as thyroid function tests, glucose tolerance tests, adrenal function tests, and hormone level measurements, to diagnose and monitor endocrine disorders.
Interpret laboratory results, imaging studies, and diagnostic tests to assess hormonal status, metabolic function, and endocrine organ health, guiding treatment decisions and patient management.
Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with endocrine disorders, incorporating pharmacological therapies, hormone replacement therapies, lifestyle modifications, and dietary interventions, as appropriate.
Manage patients with diabetes mellitus, including type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, and gestational diabetes, by providing comprehensive diabetes care, insulin therapy, glucose monitoring, and diabetes education.
Evaluate and treat thyroid disorders, such as hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, thyroid nodules, and thyroid cancer, utilizing thyroid hormone replacement therapy, antithyroid medications, radioactive iodine therapy, and thyroid surgery, as indicated.
Manage adrenal disorders, including adrenal insufficiency, Cushing's syndrome, and adrenal tumors, through hormone replacement therapy, steroid therapy, surgical intervention, and adrenal imaging studies.
Assess and treat pituitary disorders, such as pituitary adenomas, hypopituitarism, and hyperprolactinemia, utilizing medical therapies, hormone replacement, and surgical interventions, including transsphenoidal pituitary surgery.
