Description

Immediate Patient Care: Provide rapid assessment and stabilization of patients presenting with acute medical or traumatic conditions in the emergency department.
Triage Responsibilities: Perform triage duties to prioritize patient care based on the severity of their condition, ensuring that critically ill or injured patients receive immediate attention.

Emergency Procedures: Assist in performing emergency procedures, such as intubation, IV insertion, wound care, and resuscitation, under the direction of physicians and other healthcare providers.
Patient Education and Support: Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care, providing emotional support and addressing their concerns.
Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordinated care for patients in critical situations.
Infection Control and Safety: Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines to minimize the risk of healthcare-associated infections and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting assessments, interventions, and patient responses in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
