Description
- Provide direct patient care in the ICU, managing critically ill patients with acute conditions or life-threatening diseases.
- Monitor and assess the condition of ICU patients continuously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required.
- Administer medications, fluids, and other treatments as per physician orders, ensuring proper dosages and monitoring for side effects.

- Perform medical procedures and interventions within the scope of practice, such as intubation, catheterization, and resuscitation.
- Record patient observations, medical histories, and progress reports accurately in patient charts and electronic health records.
- Provide guidance and support to ICU nursing staff, ensuring adherence to protocols, safety standards, and best practices.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and adverse changes in patient conditions, ensuring the proper use of medical equipment and resources.
- Communicate effectively with patients' families, updating them on the patient’s condition and discussing treatment options or concerns.
