Description

Provide direct patient care in the ICU, managing critically ill patients with acute conditions or life-threatening diseases.
Monitor and assess the condition of ICU patients continuously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required.
Administer medications, fluids, and other treatments as per physician orders, ensuring proper dosages and monitoring for side effects.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, respiratory therapists, and specialists, to develop and implement care plans.
Perform medical procedures and interventions within the scope of practice, such as intubation, catheterization, and resuscitation.
Record patient observations, medical histories, and progress reports accurately in patient charts and electronic health records.
Provide guidance and support to ICU nursing staff, ensuring adherence to protocols, safety standards, and best practices.
Respond promptly to emergencies and adverse changes in patient conditions, ensuring the proper use of medical equipment and resources.
Communicate effectively with patients' families, updating them on the patient’s condition and discussing treatment options or concerns.
