Description

Emergency Patient Assessment: Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival in the emergency department, determining the severity of injuries or illnesses and prioritizing care accordingly.
Emergency Medical Care: Provide urgent treatment for critical conditions such as trauma, cardiac arrest, respiratory distress, strokes, and other life-threatening emergencies.
Stabilization and Resuscitation: Perform resuscitation procedures, including advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), intubation, defibrillation, and other life-saving interventions as needed.a
Collaboration with Specialists: Work closely with surgeons, physicians, and other specialists to ensure timely diagnosis and management of patients requiring further intervention or surgery.
Patient Monitoring and Management: Continuously monitor the condition of emergency patients, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on patient responses and clinical progress.
Patient and Family Communication: Provide clear and compassionate communication to patients and their families, explaining diagnoses, treatments, and the next steps in care.
Medical Documentation: Accurately document all patient interactions, treatments provided, and clinical decisions in compliance with hospital policies and medical regulations.
Compliance with Emergency Protocols: Adhere to established emergency care protocols, including infection control, safety procedures, and legal requirements to ensure the highest standard of care.
