Description
- Assess and triage patients promptly upon their arrival in the emergency department.
- Diagnose and stabilize patients experiencing acute medical or surgical emergencies.
- Perform emergency medical procedures including resuscitation, intubation, and trauma management.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and ensure accurate documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient conditions and treatment plans.
- Coordinate with EMS (Emergency Medical Services) personnel for patient transfers and outside hospital admissions.
- Ensure compliance with medical protocols, regulations, and safety standards in the emergency department.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing and support staff during emergency situations.
