Description

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
Read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical specifications to determine wiring layouts, circuit configurations, and installation requirements.
Perform electrical installations, including wiring, conduit bending, and installation of electrical panels, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures.
Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, diagnose issues, and repair or replace defective components as necessary.
Test electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning, safety, and compliance with electrical codes and regulations.
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment, including routine inspections, cleaning, and lubrication.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, contractors, and project managers to coordinate electrical work and ensure timely completion of projects.
Follow safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), lockout/tagout procedures, and adherence to electrical codes and regulations.
