Description

  • Lead and manage the EHS team, ensuring that all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures are effectively implemented and adhered to across the organization.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor EHS programs, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations as well as industry standards.
  • Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to identify potential hazards, ensuring the organization maintains a safe working environment.
  • Provide leadership in the investigation of EHS incidents, accidents, and near-misses, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Develop and conduct training programs for employees on EHS policies, procedures, and safe work practices to foster a culture of safety.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop risk assessments, emergency response plans, and safety protocols for workplace hazards and environmental impacts.
  • Monitor and report on key EHS metrics, preparing reports for management and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Ensure that necessary safety equipment and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) are available, properly maintained, and used by employees.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the EHS department, identifying opportunities to reduce risks, improve safety performance, and enhance environmental sustainability.
