Description

Lead and manage the EHS team, ensuring that all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures are effectively implemented and adhered to across the organization.
Develop, implement, and monitor EHS programs, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations as well as industry standards.
Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to identify potential hazards, ensuring the organization maintains a safe working environment.
Provide leadership in the investigation of EHS incidents, accidents, and near-misses, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
Develop and conduct training programs for employees on EHS policies, procedures, and safe work practices to foster a culture of safety.
Work with cross-functional teams to develop risk assessments, emergency response plans, and safety protocols for workplace hazards and environmental impacts.
Monitor and report on key EHS metrics, preparing reports for management and regulatory bodies as required.
Ensure that necessary safety equipment and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) are available, properly maintained, and used by employees.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the EHS department, identifying opportunities to reduce risks, improve safety performance, and enhance environmental sustainability.
