Description

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the organization complies with all local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Risk Assessment: Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and hazard analysis to identify potential environmental and safety hazards.
Safety Programs: Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, policies, and procedures to minimize risks to employees, the environment, and the organization.
Training & Education: Provide training and guidance to employees on safety protocols, proper equipment usage, emergency procedures, and environmental best practices.
Incident Investigation: Investigate workplace accidents, near misses, and environmental incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
Emergency Response: Develop and coordinate emergency response plans for incidents such as chemical spills, fires, and natural disasters.
Environmental Monitoring: Monitor and track environmental performance, including waste management, air and water quality, and energy usage, ensuring compliance with environmental laws.
Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on health, safety, and environmental performance to management, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
Equipment & Safety Checks: Inspect and maintain safety equipment (e.g., fire extinguishers, PPE) to ensure they are in working condition and comply with safety standards.
Continuous Improvement: Work with management and other departments to identify and implement strategies for continuous improvement in EHS performance.
