Description

Safety Policy Implementation: Develop, implement, and enforce environmental health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, national, and international regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
Risk Assessment and Hazard Control: Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential hazards in the workplace, recommending and implementing control measures to mitigate risks and ensure employee safety.
Safety Audits and Inspections: Perform routine safety inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and practices, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents, injuries, and near-miss incidents, preparing detailed reports and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
Training and Education: Develop and deliver training programs for employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, hazardous materials handling, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the organization adheres to environmental, health, and safety laws and regulations, maintaining documentation and preparing reports required by regulatory bodies.
Emergency Response Planning: Lead the development and implementation of emergency response plans, coordinating drills and ensuring preparedness for situations such as fires, chemical spills, or other emergencies.
Sustainability and Environmental Protection: Promote sustainability initiatives, including waste reduction, pollution prevention, and energy conservation, helping the organization minimize its environmental impact.
Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of EHS programs, gathering feedback and data to implement continuous improvement strategies and maintain a safe, compliant work environment.
