Description
- EHS Program Development: Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in legislation and best practices.
- Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate controls to mitigate risks to employees, the environment, and the organization.
- Training and Education: Develop and deliver training programs for employees on EHS policies, procedures, and best practices, promoting a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
- Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into accidents, near misses, and environmental incidents, analyzing root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of EHS activities, incidents, and compliance audits, preparing reports for management, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders as needed.
