Description

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs, policies, and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Conduct risk assessments and audits of facilities, operations, and processes to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement controls to mitigate risks and prevent accidents, injuries, and environmental incidents.
Provide leadership and guidance to site EHS teams and coordinators, ensuring effective implementation of EHS programs, training initiatives, and compliance activities.
Monitor and analyze EHS performance metrics, trends, and leading indicators to identify areas for improvement, track progress, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with regulatory agencies, external auditors, and industry partners to ensure compliance with environmental permits, licenses, and regulations, and facilitate inspections, audits, and reporting requirements.
Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and environmental spills, conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence and improve safety performance.
Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors on topics such as hazard recognition, emergency response, chemical safety, and ergonomics to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
