Description

  1. Perform routine and complex video EEG / EMG procedures to obtain data for use in the diagnosis of clinic disorders of the nervous system
  2. To get the tracings reported by Neurologist.
  3. To assist with scheduling patients for EEG / EMG.
  4. Maintaining the equipment in the department, ensuring that a test run of the machine with calibration is conducted as and when required.
  5. Receiving the patients and checking for completeness of their papers, preparation for the test and collecting their previous investigation reports.
  6. To ensure that all equipment's are in optimum working condition.
  7. To maintain inventory of required equipment and supplies.
  8. To maintain patient registers.
  9. Assisting in EEG / EMG monitoring in the OT.
  10. Conducting EEGs / EMG in ICU, ICCU & PICU.
  11. To maintain professional conduct, good communication skills, and confidentiality in the care of patients.
