Description
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, standards, and laws applicable to the industry, providing guidance to the organization on adherence to these requirements.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards, evaluate the level of risk, and develop strategies to mitigate or eliminate risks in the workplace.
- Safety Training: Develop and deliver training programs on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and regulatory requirements to employees, fostering a culture of safety awareness and compliance.
- Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, analyzing root causes and contributing factors to prevent reoccurrence, and report findings to management and relevant authorities as required.
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, first aid protocols, and communication strategies, to ensure the safety of personnel in the event of emergencies.
- Environmental Management: Implement and oversee environmental management programs, including waste management, pollution prevention, and sustainability initiatives to minimize the organization's environmental impact.
