Description

  • Patient Management: Provide round-the-clock medical care and monitoring for neurology inpatients and emergency cases under the supervision of neurologists.
  • Initial Assessment: Conduct initial evaluation and documentation of neurological patients, including history taking, physical examination, and presenting complaints.
  • Emergency Response: Attend neurological emergencies (e.g., seizures, stroke, altered sensorium) promptly and initiate appropriate medical management.
  • Monitoring: Regularly monitor vitals, neurological status, and treatment response of admitted patients, and report changes to the neurologist on call.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with consultants, nurses, ICU teams, radiology, and lab services to ensure timely investigations and interventions.
  • Medication Administration: Ensure correct administration of medications, including intravenous drugs, antiepileptics, and thrombolytics as per protocol.
