Duty Medical Officer

Patient Care 

• Take medical histories and conduct physical examinations.
• Diagnose illnesses, interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe treatment.
• Monitor patients’ progress and make changes to treatment as needed.

Clinical Procedures

• Perform minor surgical procedures and first aid.
• Administer medications, injections, and IV fluids.
• Refer patients to specialists or higher centers when required.

Medical Documentation

• Maintain accurate and updated patient records.
• Write medical reports, discharge summaries, and prescriptions.

Emergency Management

• Respond promptly to medical emergencies.
• Stabilize patients and provide life-saving interventions

Preventive health And Counseling

• Educate patients on disease prevention, diet, hygiene, and healthy habits.
• Participate in vaccination and public health programs.

Collaboration & Coordination

• Work with nurses, lab technicians, and administrative staff for coordinated patient care.
• Attend departmental meetings and participate in case discussions.
