Duty Medical Officer

Key Responsibilities:
 

Patient Assessment and Treatment:

• Evaluate patients, diagnose conditions, and administer appropriate treatment, including medications and procedures. 
  Patient Monitoring and Care:
• Monitor patients' vital signs, progress, and response to treatment, adjusting care plans as needed. 
  Emergency Response:
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, providing immediate care and support. 
  Documentation:
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including patient histories, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. 
  Collaboration:
• Work collaboratively with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. 
  Communication:
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing information, education, and support. 
  Shift Management:
• Oversee medical activities during their shift, ensuring smooth operations and continuity of care. 
  Admissions and Discharges:
• Manage patient admissions and discharges, ensuring appropriate medical procedures are followed. 
  Compliance:
• Adhere to established clinical protocols, standards of practice, and regulatory requirements.
