Description

  • Provide Emergency Medical Care: Serve as the first point of contact for patients in emergency or critical care situations. Administer immediate medical care, stabilize patients, and initiate necessary treatments.
  • Monitor In-Patient Care: Regularly check on admitted patients, monitor their vital signs, progress, and overall condition. Address any immediate medical needs and ensure timely communication with senior doctors or specialists.
  • Assist in Emergency Procedures: Assist senior doctors and surgeons in emergency procedures, including intubation, resuscitation, and other life-saving interventions.
  • Carry Out Routine Medical Procedures: Perform routine procedures such as IV insertion, blood draws, administering medication, dressing wounds, and managing patient records.
  • Liaise with Specialists: Communicate and collaborate with consultants, surgeons, or specialists regarding patient conditions, treatment plans, or any complications that arise during a patient’s stay.
  • Coordinate Patient Transfers: Arrange for patient transfers between departments, such as from the emergency department to the intensive care unit (ICU) or other specialized units.
