Job Description
- Assess patients’ nutritional status and requirements.
- Prepare and implement individualized diet plans as per diagnosis.
- Provide diet counseling to IPD & OPD patients and attendants.
- Monitor patients’ progress and modify diet plans accordingly.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing, and kitchen staff for diet delivery.
- Plan and supervise therapeutic diets (diabetic, renal, cardiac, etc.).
- Maintain diet charts, calorie counts, and nutrition records.
- Ensure hygiene and quality standards in diet kitchen.
- Participate in NABH quality programs and audits.
- Conduct nutrition education sessions and health awareness programs.
