Description

Provide leadership, direction, and supervision to nursing staff, including charge nurses, staff nurses, and nursing assistants.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Mentor, coach, and support nursing staff in their professional development, performance improvement, and continuing education.
Coordinate patient care activities, including admissions, discharges, and transfers, to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
Collaborate with healthcare team members, including physicians, therapists, and support staff, to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and patient safety programs to enhance the quality and safety of patient care delivery.
Monitor nursing practices, patient outcomes, and adherence to regulatory standards, implementing corrective actions as needed to address deficiencies.
Develop staffing schedules, assign duties, and allocate resources to meet patient care needs while maintaining appropriate staffing levels.
Manage nursing resources, including supplies, equipment, and medications, ensuring availability and proper utilization.
