Description

  • Microbiological Testing & Analysis: Supervise and conduct microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and environmental samples to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Laboratory Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations of the microbiology laboratory, ensuring that tests are performed accurately, in a timely manner, and according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Quality Assurance & Control: Monitor quality control measures and ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and ISO. Review test results and initiate corrective actions if required.
  • Method Development & Validation: Lead the development, validation, and optimization of microbiological testing methods and ensure they are in alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Staff Supervision & Training: Supervise and mentor microbiology team members, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they follow best practices and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Oversee the documentation of testing procedures, results, and deviations. Prepare and review microbiology-related reports for internal and regulatory reviews.
  • Environmental Monitoring: Ensure regular environmental monitoring of production areas, maintaining stringent hygiene and contamination control procedures.
  • Troubleshooting & Investigation: Investigate microbiological deviations or product contamination incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed of regulatory changes and ensure all microbiological testing and laboratory practices are in compliance with local and international standards.
  • Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with production, quality control, and R&D teams to resolve microbiological issues, support new product development, and ensure consistent product quality.
