Dental Hygienist

Job Description:

• Medinetix Healthcare Private Limited is seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. 
• As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional oral care to our patients, contributing to their overall dental health and well-being. 
• This role requires a combination of clinical expertise, patient care skills, and a commitment to promoting oral hygiene education.

Responsibilities:

• Perform dental hygiene procedures such as scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments under the supervision of a licensed dentist.
• Conduct thorough dental assessments, including reviewing patients' medical histories, taking X-rays, and charting oral conditions.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and dietary habits, to prevent dental problems.
• Administer local anesthesia or nitrous oxide as directed by the dentist for patient comfort during dental procedures.
• Assist dentists during dental procedures by providing instruments, materials, and suctioning.
• Maintain and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to infection control guidelines.
• Record and maintain accurate patient treatment records, including dental charting, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Collaborate with other members of the dental team to ensure efficient patient care and treatment coordination.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene techniques and technologies through continuing education and professional development.
• Uphold high standards of patient confidentiality and ethical conduct in all interactions.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
• Valid Dental Hygienist license issued by the state dental board.
• Proven experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a dental practice or healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures, including scaling, polishing, and dental radiography.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and dental team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
