Description
- As a Pharmacist Customer Relationship Manager, you serve as the vital link between patients, healthcare professionals, and the pharmacy.
- Your primary responsibility is to provide accurate, compassionate, and timely support regarding prescriptions, medications, drug interactions, insurance queries, and pharmacy services. This role combines pharmaceutical knowledge with excellent communication and problem-solving skills to ensure patients receive safe and efficient care.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat regarding prescriptions, refills, and medication usage.
- Provide professional guidance on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper storage of medications.
- Assist patients in navigating insurance claims, prior authorizations, and billing concerns.
- Work collaboratively with pharmacists, physicians, and insurance companies to resolve issues quickly and accurately.
- Document all interactions and follow up to ensure complete resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy regulations.
- Support medication therapy management (MTM) programs, where applicable.
