<ul><li>Assess and prepare patients for cardiothoracic and vascular surgeries, including conducting pre-operative assessments, obtaining medical history, and ensuring informed consent.</li><li>Educate patients and their families about the surgical procedure, potential risks, and post-operative care requirements.</li><li>Coordinate with surgical teams to ensure readiness for surgery and manage pre-operative documentation and procedures.</li><li>Assist with intra-operative care, including monitoring patients’ vital signs, administering medications, and supporting surgical teams during procedures.</li><li>Prepare and maintain sterile fields, and assist with surgical instruments and equipment as needed.</li><li>Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition during surgery, ensuring timely intervention and communication with the surgical team.</li><li>Provide comprehensive post-operative care to patients recovering from cardiothoracic and vascular surgeries, including monitoring for complications, managing pain, and supporting recovery.</li><li>Perform and document post-operative assessments, including monitoring vital signs, wound care, and fluid balance.</li></ul>
