Job Description

1. Prepare the CTOT with required instruments, machines, and sterile consumables before surgery.
2. Assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and nurses during cardiothoracic procedures.
3. Set up and maintain CTOT equipment such as heart–lung machine accessories, monitors, suction, and cautery.
4. Ensure proper sterilization, handling, and availability of CTOT instruments and trays.
5. Assist in patient shifting, positioning, and pre-operative preparation.
6. Maintain strict aseptic techniques and infection control standards.
7. Monitor functioning of OT equipment and report faults immediately.
