Description

Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for CT scans, explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, and obtaining necessary medical history and consent.
CT Scan Operation: Operate and maintain CT scan equipment, ensuring that scans are performed according to medical guidelines and protocols.
Image Acquisition: Capture high-quality images of specific body parts or organs using CT technology, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis.
Radiation Safety: Adhere to radiation safety standards and guidelines, ensuring minimal radiation exposure to patients and staff while achieving diagnostic quality images.
Collaboration with Medical Team: Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to assess the quality of images and assist in diagnosing medical conditions.
Patient Monitoring: Monitor patients during the procedure for any discomfort or adverse reactions and provide support as needed.
Image Processing & Analysis: Process and review CT images for quality assurance, ensuring they are clear and accurate before forwarding them to the radiologist for interpretation.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks, maintenance, and calibration on CT equipment to ensure it functions properly and accurately.
Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records, including scan details, medical history, and any relevant observations, in compliance with health regulations and confidentiality standards.
Infection Control: Follow infection control protocols to ensure patient safety and maintain a sterile environment in the CT room.
