Description

Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining the procedure, addressing any concerns, and ensuring proper positioning for optimal imaging results.
Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain CT scanning equipment, ensuring it is functioning correctly, calibrated, and safe for patient use.
Image Acquisition: Perform CT scans according to established protocols, adjusting settings such as dose and scan parameters to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Radiation Safety: Implement radiation safety measures to minimize exposure to both patients and staff, including proper shielding and adherence to protocols.
Image Evaluation: Review images for quality and completeness, ensuring that scans are technically satisfactory and accurately represent the area of interest, reporting any issues to the supervising radiologist.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of procedures performed, patient information, and scan results, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and legal standards.
Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Work closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and assist in the interpretation of imaging results.
